We do not forget, while you sleep
In a coma, oh so deep
We do not forget your mother's cry
As she sits by the bed, where you lie.
We do not forget your Father's tears
As he recalls your fifteen years
His hopes and dreams for you, his son
Whose future had only just begun.
We do not forget the "boots of shame"
Or the three who are to blame
Three who caused such grief and pain
And who must surely be insane!
We do not forget justice blind
That freed the villains for them to find
A sky still blue -- a sun that shines
And Daddies whose riches will pay their fines!
We do not forget - for you we pray
That someday soon you'll be O.K.
We know that life won't be the same
For you have felt "The Boots of Shame".
